The bottom layer got so hard I could barely cut it. It would not stay together because of the nuts and the really hard bottom.

Next time I will leave out the nuts

I made this recipe when friends were over for dinner and we all loved it. I omitted the pecans and put chocolate shavings on top. Very yummy, especially for chocolate lovers! Very easy to make.

Excellent...everyone went back for seconds and it wasn't because they had small pieces! Will definately make again.

This chocolate pie is absolutely delicious. I had a hard time not eating it before I got it in the pan. Made it in Oklahoma and in California within two weeks. Everyone loved it.

Need help on this recipe. We made it and it came out great even without the 1/2 cup of milk we left out, as we did not know where it went, the recipe was not clear to us about where the other 1/2 cup of milk went, and Help? Thanks

I made 2 of these for our family Christmas Eve dinner and it was a hit with everyone there. I followed the recipe as written and had no problems with the chocolate or any other ingredient. I wish I still had some leftovers. Guess I'll need to go to the store.

It was definitely rich. The biggest problem I had was that the bottom layer of chocolate ended up like modeling clay and was hard to spread so it broke my pie crust. When I served it at my mom's the next day, the same layer was so hard that we could hardly cut it!
