What You Need

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

1/4

cup canned sweetened condensed milk

OREO Pie Crust (6 oz.)

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans, toasted

pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups cold 2% milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

MIX chocolate and condensed milk; pour into crust. Sprinkle with nuts.

BEAT pudding mixes and 2% milk with whisk 2 min.; spoon 1-1/2 cups over nuts. Stir half the COOL WHIP into remaining pudding; spread over pudding layer in crust.

TOP with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 3 hours.

How to Toast Nuts

Heat oven to 350°F. Spread nuts in single layer in shallow pan. Bake 5 to 7 min. or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.

Variation

Prepare using BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, increasing the sweetened condensed milk to 1/2 cup and substituting PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts for the toasted pecans.

Umm- I thought I died after taking the first bite of this pie. Unbelievable. I didn't have any pudding packs so I just used the Jell-O pudding that I had in the fridge (you know the ones that come pre-made in the individual cups?). I was definitely hard to get out the pan, but that didn't stop us. We (my husband and I) just brought the whole pan into the living room and ate it.

delicious but the picture is misleading in that there is about half of the first layer and twice the 2nd layer that is shown.

Flavor is delicious, but it's a HASSLE to make! First, the pie crust completely fell apart as I spread the first chocolate layer. Second, the box size of the pudding mix (3.9oz) does not exist. I have found 3.4oz or 5.9oz boxes of Jello Instant Pudding mix. It is just a complete mess to deal with the thick chocolate and sticky condensed milk. And it's an even worse mess trying to slice and serve the pie!

Made this recipe last night and got rave reviews from DH. I left out the nuts since he's not a big fan. It was difficult to get out of the pan but was so good that it didn't matter.

The directions were jumbled and when I followed the steps, it would have you go back before. It was sort of hard to follow, but it was an easy fix. I wouldn't recommend this recipe or make it again.

Made this for Thanksgiving. It was the most eaten dessert at the table! Everyone loved it! I will definitely make this for Christmas and other occasions as well. It was absolutely delicious.

I made this for Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure if I would like it because I'm not a big "pudding person". But let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I will make this again! It was especially a hit with the kids at the gathering. I know people will be asking me to make it again very soon!

I made this as an alternative dessert for Thanksgiving and EVERYONE loved it! Even my husband who is cutting down his sugar intake....he wants me to make another one already! I have had to give the recipe to 4 people in 2 days. I used a regular graham cracker crust instead of the Oreo crust. It was still amazing! You can use Fat Free/Lite CoolWhip and Sugar Free Choc Pudding to lighten the fat and sugar intake.
