What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, well drained

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BEAT cream cheese, sour cream and dressing mix in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add broccoli and 1-1/2 cups cheddar; mix well.

SPREAD into 9-inch pie plate.

BAKE 20 min. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar; bake 5 min. or until melted.

Substitute

Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Use Your Microwave

Mix ingredients as directed; spoon into 9-inch microwaveable pie plate. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 7 min. or until heated through, stirring every 3 min. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar. Microwave 2 to 3 min. or until melted.

Keeping it Safe

Discard perishable foods which have been left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Any leftover dip should be covered, refrigerated and used within 3 days.

made this for christmas lunch last year. i'd forgotten, but my sister hadn't!! she asked me to make it again this year. it must've been great! how can you really go wrong with broccoli and cheese?

I first made this recipe for a potluck in 1997, I have not been able to take it anywhere since then (everyone asked me for the recipe and has been bringing it themselves). When people ask me for a suggestion, this is the first one that comes to mind, and they all get rave reviews for it too!!

It was really easy to make. It is a great recipe. I didn't use the Italian dressing, but it tasted the same to me!
