What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, well drained

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BEAT cream cheese, sour cream and dressing mix in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add broccoli and 1-1/2 cups cheddar; mix well.

SPREAD into 9-inch pie plate.

BAKE 20 min. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar; bake 5 min. or until melted.

Substitute

Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Use Your Microwave

Mix ingredients as directed; spoon into 9-inch microwaveable pie plate. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 7 min. or until heated through, stirring every 3 min. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar. Microwave 2 to 3 min. or until melted.

Keeping it Safe

Discard perishable foods which have been left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Any leftover dip should be covered, refrigerated and used within 3 days.

100% crowd pleaser! Family and friends beg for me to bring this, anytime I come over. We love it with scoopable Tortilla chips too. Tastes great using no or low fat ingredients too!

I first made this recipe for a party in 1999. Since then, anytime my husband and I are invited, we are asked to bring this dip. We've served it with just about everything, but everyone seems to like it best with pita chips and veggies instead of bread, crackers, or tortilla chips.
