This recipe was great. It was very simple to make. Also, everyone was amazed by the desert. My husband and I had a little extra time so we made a homemade angel food cake. I would highly recommend this recipe. It's super easy, and you will hear tons of great reviews from your friends and family.

Oh my family loved this cake!!!! i even went as far as making my own sponge cake instead of using a store brought one. It was so delicious. It was perfect. My husband could not stop raving about how good it was. He was even telling his friends about. For a little twist i used halved peacans around the perimetr of the cake along with strawberries halves to a little crunch and color.

To the cook who doesn't like pineapple, try this twist. Stir in toffee chips, I've done this w/just the Cool Whip, no pudding, and it is terrific! But, my favorite is pineapple and toasted coconut... Pina Colada style. :-)

My family doesn't like pineapple (we don't lve in Hawaii) This does sound like a very good quick cake. Those of you who've made it could you suggest a different fruit to mix in with the pudding? Thank you

This desert makes for a delicately sweet desert. My family went nuts over it and I will definitely make this again.
