This recipe is a great one for summer. It is delicious and easy to make! As a college student, I look for things that are easy and quick and this one is both!

I have simplified this recipe by layering slices of cake in a 13 X 9 pan then layering all of the filling and topping with another layer of cake and cool whip. It's not as elegant but the kids love it just as well.
