For a much lower sugar content replace the cool whip with sugar free cool whip and make the angelfood cake with splenda instead of sugar unless you can find a sugar free mix. It was very good this way.

I made it for a family party and everyone loved it!! I ended up giving out the receipe to over 10 people (there were 30 in attendance). It was great! My husband just asked for me to make it again.

I also served the cake topping as a desert dish of its own. I placed a serving in a pudding dish and topped it with a strawberry. It is wonderful and easy.

to the cook on 12/17 who's mother is a diabetic. My mother is also diabetic and has been for quite some time. I've already made a cheesecake and substituted splenda for the sugar. It was delicious. I'm sure you can do that with most recipes
