We've made this again and again. I made it for my parents once when they came to visit and my mother was impressed.
This is one of those recipes that my roommates always request for me to make. Over the years, I have changed the recipe slightly. I only use half a cup of sour cream and add a whole package of cream cheese. I also add black beans to give it a little more filling.
Loved this, and very easy to make! Added 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning in place of cilantro & cumin. Also used a black bean & corn salsa to add in more vegetables. Served with mexican rice.
very good! i used wheat tortillas and different salsa than directed to give them an extra kick. i made spanish rice as a side. would make again...
We love this recipe. I put Franks hot sauce in with the chicken for an extra kick that we like.
Very Good! A friend told me to boil the chicken to cook it, so it becomes extra tender, and to dip the tortillas in cream of chicken soup mixed with milk before filling, omg they were so delicious!
I love this recipe. It has become a favorite by the roommates. Here are some of the changes that spruce it up a bit: Use half a cup of sour cream and half cup of cream cheese. I also add black beans. I use a spicier salsa in the mix to give it some flavor, but as a side, my roommates prefer a mild salsa.
This was pretty good. I acidentally only put in 1/2 tsp of cumin, which is why to me it was a bit bland. I'm sure that will be remedied next time I make it by adding the full tsp. I also mixed together sour cream and salsa together and spread it on top before baking. I also used a rotisserie chicken for easier prep. It came out great. My husband couldn't wait to eat the leftovers at work!
I added jalapenos, onions and a little bit of Mexican rice to the mix that I home make. It was excellent and had a huge kick to it because I used medium enchilada sauce and added the salsa to that! will make againe!
Excellent!! I have been making this for a few years now. Everyone in my family loves it!
