This was so simple but awesome!!! My girls couldn't believe I whipped up something so good, so fast! This was great without the toppings, but next time, I'll add the tomatoes, green or regular yellow onion, and some sliced black olives... Avocado chunks and jalapeno slices would also be great! Oh, and it is definitely better with tortilla chips... I plan to keep the ingredients on hand all the time from now on!!

Always a party favorite! I started making this recipe in my college years and never added the tomato or green onion. It goes quickly and I usually double or tripple it.

This was so easy to make and delicious. Brought the dip over to a friends house this evening and the four of us ate the entire thing...if taking to a large party, should make at least two. It will go fast!

I took this to my mother in laws house for Labor Day and everyone loved it. I made two dishes and they were both gone in no time.

I made this recipe 2 years ago for a superbowl party. Everyone loved it! I lost the recipe soon after so I'm really happy to have it again. I like to add sliced black olives to the chili mixture. The sliced jalapeno, tomato and green onions on top of the melted cheese makes this dip a favorite.

I have made this twice now and gotten rave reviews both times. My family loves spicy food, so I leave out the scallions and instead top with sliced jalapenos to add heat and color.
