I made this recipe for a super bowl party last year and everyone loved it. So I made it again to take to a party as a covered dish and now I've got everyone hooked on it

I HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS RECIPE FOR YEARS. WHENEVER I MAKE IT I PUT THE GREEN ONIONS IN WITH THE CRM CHZ AND ADD A LITTLE BIT OF GARLIC AND ONION SEASONING. ALSO IF YOU CAN FIND A MONTEREY CHEDDAR MIX IT TENDS TO MELT BETTER.

Instead of the garnish of tomatoes, I added a jar of salsa to give it a little more kick. It was great.

Made this for a birthday party and everyone asked for the recipe. Will try again and include a layer of refried beans.

Try serving with Frito Lay Scoops corn chips. The dip sits nicely in the scoop and tastes great hot out of the oven.

Need a big batch? This works wonderfully in a crock pot! Just stir to blend, with your pot set on 'Low', and sprinkle on the tomato/onion garnish before serving. I have quadrupled this recipe with no trouble, and everyone just raved about it!
