We used the regular italian dressing mix and added a tsp of garlic powder. We also tried it using Kraft Italian Dressing from the bottle and marinating the chicken first since we were out of the dry mix. Both were delicious and easy to fix.

I made this last weekend and got rave reviews from my family. Was very surprised at the intensity of their liking. What a hit and it was soooo easy. I didn't use the garlic dressing, I had a packet of creamy fat free Italian and it worked fine.

I just noticed that you are supposed to use roasted garlic dressing. I used Italian dressing mix, that's what made it so good, gave it lots of flavor. Ursula

I couldn't find the roasted garlic dressing, so I used garlic cheese. It seemed to work out just fine. The chicken was delicious and very moist. I also popped it in the broiler for a bit as the tip at the bottom said. That made a nice crispy crust on top of the chicken which was wonderful. I'm so glad I found this website. During dinner tonight, Skye said, "Where are you getting all of these new recipes? Everything tastes so good!"
