I am also looking for the recipe that used to be on the back of the Baker's Chocolate box. This one is too sweet. Was the original recipe this one using only one cup of sugar, and only 2 sticks of butter?

I thought this was too sweet. I would like to see the original recipe I ue to use printed on the inside of the box like it used to be. It did call for an 8x8 pan as well. prob would not use this one again.

I skipped the nuts and powdered sugar. They were great tasting, easy to make and devoured in about two seconds.

My family loves these brownies. However, I made a few adjustments. I only add 1/2 c butter and 1 1/2 c sugar to the recipe. Instead of nuts, I add dark chocolate chips, and they are wonderful!

These are absolutely delicious and so easy to make. They are so moist that it was difficult to keep the stars as pretty as shown. They like to stick to the cookie cutter, even sprayed with cooking spray. But, they are soooo good!!

I added walnuts as I did not have pecans. Also melted Chocolate chips on top instead of the sugar I didn't have. You can cut back on the sugar and butter a little without hurting the brownies. I also only added 2 eggs and 2 egg whites to lower the cholesterol for my hubby's sake.

These were very good. A very good basic brownie recipe. Can be used with infinite variations to make it special.

It seemed like the brownies didn't have enough sugar and the powdered sugar was to much. They were still good and I would make them again.
