These are so yummy and easy to make that I don't buy the boxed brownie mix anymore. I don't like nuts in my brownies, so I omit those, and they come out perfect for my taste.

Thanks a whole lot "Ladybug" and "a Cook on"...really apreciate it. Will get down to making these and then get back to you guys as to how they turn out. Again, thank you very much for your help in the conversion matter. Happy now...can finally make BROWNIES!!!!!YEEEEEEEEEES!!!!

I made these brownies as gifts to friends over the holiday. They were very easy to make, but they tended to harden on the outside when left out for a while. They were still very good, though.

this is the conversion for the choc oz for the european reader. This is how I read it. 1 oz of choc bar x4= 4 oz. 4 oz is 1/2 cup. 30cc= 1oz for liq only.so 1 sq = 1 oz and if 4 sqs are needed than that would = 4 oz or 1/2 cup . Hope this helps Let me know. dori

Each Baker's Square is 1 (one) ounce. I don't know the conversion to grams/cups from that. Sorry and good luck!
