I hesitated making the cookies with all of it's bad reviews. The dough is soft and delicate to roll even after refrigeration but the cookies are delicious! I would recommend this recipe & look forward to using it again next Christmas!

Moderately pleasing taste (due to the crushed Life Savers on top!), but a royal pain in the neck to make. The dough was entirely too sticky. I refrigerated dough overnight, but that was of little help. More flour probably would have helped some, but by the time I thought of that, I was out of the spirit. I made 2 logs and cut the cookies with a sharp knife, baked, put crushed candies on top. Done with this recipe...forever...definitely not worth the effort for so little return in taste!

Best sugar cookie recipe I've ever made. It was easy...and most of all delicious. I got more compliments on these cookies then on ever! The most important being from my husband, who isn't a sweet eater. He said they were better than our friends sugar cookies, and she's a chef! They were so moist and light I just couldn't stop eating them...I guess maybe that's the downfall.

I made these cookies according to the recipe but, ended up throwing them away half way through baking. They are too doughy! I felt like I was eating bread instead of a cookie. I would try another recipe because these were terrible.

I lost my card and was happy to find it online. Love this recipe. I don't make cutout with it; I roll into one inch balls then dip them and slightly flatten them in colored sugar. One baked the are all ready and decorated! Enjoy!

I had a recipe card from Kraft for these cookies for years. This year I went into a panic as I could not find it. Soooo happy it is on this site. Will never try another sugar cookie recipe again. Easy to roll out and easy to cut out. Most important they are delicious!

I just made these tonight and they are fabulous!!! The flavor is wonderful, the cookie is moist and the best part... it kept its shape!!! I'm a quick cook by nature and I usually just buy the tube and cut and bake. They always flatten out and become more like dry wafers. If this recipe wasn't so easy, I'd have never tried it, but I'm glad I did! I did refrigerate them for several hours only because I didn't get to them sooner. I also baked them for 10 minutes and didn't let them get golden for fear they would dry out. No worries on that one. Perfect, perfect, perfect!! This recipe's a keeper :)
