A wonderful recipe for sugar cookies, although i didn't put crushed life savers on top because i felt like that would ruin the cookie and make it difficult to eat. The reviewers who said the dough was hard to work with did not chill it..THIS DOUGH HAS TO BE CHILLED FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR

These cookies are super easy and great! My only recommendations are to cool the dough longer (I let it stay in the fridge overnight and they were fine) and roll them thicker than 1/8". And when you bake them keep your eyes peeled for the slightest browning on the edges, and take them out to cool immediately. They yeild a softer moister cookie otherwise they tend to overbake a bit. YUM!

By far the best sugar cookie recipe I've found! And, I don't mind letting the kids (or the husband) cleaning the mixer beaters because there are no eggs.

DELICIOUS! These cookies taste exactly like ones that have been given out for years every Christmas at our local Christmas tree farm. Everyone asks for more and more.

This is the sugar cookie recipe I use whenever I make cookies now. It's very easy to make and tastes pretty good too. I'm very particular about cookies. Some people said they found the dough hard to work with. I've never had that problem. I'm thinking they didn't let the dough chill long enough.
