This recipe is the BEST sugar cookie recipe I have ever tried. The dough was a perfect consistency and the finished product was delicious. My family loves them with cream cheese icing.

Dough was extremely difficult to work with and finished cookies not particularly satisfying.

Totally agree with the comments on this dough being sticky! Even after using LOTS of flour, I had a hard time working with it. As an alternative, I shaped into 1" balls and pressed... they aren't as pretty as cutouts but it worked!!

The dough was hard to work with, but because I read all the comments before, I was well prepared with lots of flour handy! The cookies were awesome and my coworkers had them gone in the first half hour of work!

very good cookie, but the dough was a nightmare. i read all the other comments about the sticky dough, but i wanted to try them anyway. it was way to frustrating trying to make them.

I love the cream cheese flavor of these cookies but would definitely reccommend refrigerating the dough. Also, it's still a very flaky dough to work with but very good!

I suggest refrigerating the dough for 1 hour so that the dough is easier to work with. The cookies were wonderful with wipped strawberry and vanilla store-bought frosting.

After years and multiple recipes in search for a "great" sugar cookie, I have finally found it. This recipe was so much fun to make. We made a batch and took it to a Valentines party. We also had enough dough that we were able to make some the next day as a Sunday afternoon snack. I used the heart shaped cookie cutters and red sugar, red gel, pink icing and left some the cookies plain. Everyone loved them and the hostess asked to keep the rest so she could share with her Sunday School class. I will use this recipe for Easter as well with bunny/easter egg cutouts. Great recipe!!
