I have made this recipe now 3x's and it is so healthy yet delicious!!!! Instead of buying the ready made chicken, I just grilled my own chicken on the stove top with some Italian dressing.
It was horrible!
Quick, easy and delicious. I used canned diced tomato, it's hard to find decent quality ripe tomato here, and it turned out just fine using canned tomato. Will make again, it was very good!
It was okay, but not much flavor :(
I thought this was great, I just tweeked it alittle. I started with cooking the noodles, then the chicken...added a can of italian diced tomatoes in the skillet until the chicken was done. Then broccoli(frozen), then zuchinni, and last spinach. I added alittle italian and, sun dried tom. dressing, and also some powdered zesty italian dressing...finished with some crushed red pepper for some zing!!! I also added some cheddar, and mozz. shredded cheese! The best!
add italian seasoning to chicken while cooking. Cook broccoli longer (a bit crunchy).
It was sooo yummy my picky eaters loved it as well, I added more italian dressing before serving, I noticed it was bland with the olive oil so that helped out alot
I made this for dinner last night for myself and my 3 young children - I still can't believe HOW MUCH they enjoyed this meal! Leftovers are already gone and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. I cooked and diced my own chicken breast, then drizzled it in a little bit of Light Italian dressing. Also used wheat rotini instead of regular. Otherwise followed the recipe and it was perfect!
we make this recipe all the time and have for probably over a year now. its very quick and inexpensive, which is important with toddlers and being a family of 7. i usually just use a can of drained diced tomatoes instead of chopping them up and it works well. its a great recipe that you can be creative with.
This receipe was very easy and delicious. I did make a few changes. I used chicked breasts and diced them up. I cooked them in zesty italian dressing. I also used the dressing instead of the oil. It turned out great and we had no leftovers!!!
