I have used this recipe for years using smoky links and frozen meatballs to save time. It is a bit sweet but I want that to have a variety of flavors on my buffet table. I skewer them ahead of time and keep them heated on an electric griddle with a small crock pot of extra sauce for dipping. Everyone loves then and I have been asked already if I am making them again this Christmas.

I made this recipe for a bridal luncheon I hosted and no on would touch it. It looked a lot like dog food even after I garnished it and plated it. When I had a few brave souls to sample a bite it was entirely too sweet. I am known as a great cook among my friends and I was embarrassed to disappoint them. It might work better to use less preserves and more onions, maybe a few red peppers.

I used frozen meatballs instead of making my own in order to save time. Placed all ingredients in a slow cooker on low so guests could nibble as desired.

It was a great hit at my last year's wine party, everyone enjoyed the taste. The pineapple and apricot preserves with the meats was a delicious combination. So this year, it will be on the table again for my guest.

I absolutely loved this. It was so easy to prepare and it came out appealing to the eye AND the tongue. Made it for the Superbowl and got rave reviews for it. I used kielbasa instead of hot dogs and ground turkey instead of ground beef. The flavor was incredible.

I made this resicpe for Superbowl, it was not good, the sauce was too sweet and the meats didn't have enough flavor.

I made this for a bridal shower that I was throwing. After reading other members reviews I decided I should probably just make a double recipe right off the bat so I wouldn't run out and it's a good thing I did! Everyone loved it! I used frozen mini meatballs instead of making my own and I used lowfat hotdogs instead of regular ones. No one had any idea, you couldn't taste the difference. Overall...very good!!
