Shocked at how good it tasted. My Husband said it tasted better as being a "Left Over" dish. I think the sauce thickens after it sits over night. I cut down on the Noodles to only 2 cups. I think 4 cups would soak in the sauce too much. I've got to admit It was one of the best Beef Recipes i've had in a while.
Even my fussy husband and daughter will eat this! It's an easy fix at the end of a hard day of work. I like it also because it's reheatable. With our busy schedules, that's very important!
This recipe has become a family staple. It's great made just as recipe is but we like to exchange the sliced beef with ground beef. Either way, it's fantastic.
I make this often, but add 1/4 teaspoon paprika and 2 tablespoons tomato paste (have occasionally substituted ketchup for the tomato paste) to brighten the flavors. Try it!
I served this as a topping on a potato bar for a party. Intead of cutting the beef into strips, I cut the beef into 1/2 " cubes. It was the hit of the party. Everyone asked for the recipe and leftovers. I will definately make this again and again.
The sauce is so delicious. Next time I will try it with chicken!
I loved it and so did my family!! It tastes just like grandma used to make. It is also fairly easy, and takes no time at all. If you don't want to use steak substitute hamburger, I used flank steak and it was wonderful! It is also great as a leftover. I will be making this again and again and again.
I am a food director at a halfway house. Our clients do all the cooking. I needed an easy recipe to use the steak that I have. This was perfect. I have been using it for a year, and everybody loves it.
This was absolutely amazing! I had been looking for a good beef stroganoff recipe and I finally found one.
Wow! Really good! I used hamburger instead of steak. Served with salad and bread sticks. We'll be having this one again. :)
