My husband is a chocoholic, so the "chocolatiness" was okay for him. My 9" springform pan was not tall enough for the cake, so my advice is to use a deep one. Since the pan was not deep enough and the cake came above the pan with nothing to support the sides, the cheesecake cracked terribly. But, it was still delicious and I do plan to make it again, this time in a pan lined with parchment to extend several inches above my springform.
