Broccoli Rice Casserole

Broccoli Rice Casserole recipe
Rumor has it this broccoli casserole is always the first to disappear at a party. We think it has something to do with cheesy rice and a crunchy bread topping.

Very easy and good.

This dish was very easy and super good. I used brown rice instead of white to boost the nutritional value and my picky 13 year old son still loved it and asked me to make it again.

This was easy to make and the flavor was pretty good. I reduced the cheez whiz as I don't like a lot of cheese in my food

I have used this recipe (very similar)for 20+ years now. One year I skipped making it for Thanksgiving and everyone wanted to know where it was.

I have made this several times. I use reduced fat mushroom soup and broccoli florets (my family doesn't like the chopped kind) and bread crumbs or Ritz for the topping. This is always a hit when I make it and several people have asked me for "my" recipes. At Thanksgiving, my grandson said it was his favorite dish! Try it with chicken soup and chopped leftover or canned chicken for a one dish meal!

THis is a great recipe. I used a combination of cheeses. Velveeta works great and we threw in some shredded cheddar. Also, we like to take crumbled Ritz type crackers mixed with the melted butter as the topping. It gives it a nice crunch. WE used a whole sleeve of crackers, but you can decide what it best for you.

I tried this recipe my family and I really enjoyed it. I also added cubed chicken breast to it and it made it that much better.

I absolutely loved this recipe. It was very yummy. The only thing I was confused about was the cubed bread topping. It didn't seem like enough. Next time I make this I will probably just leave that part off.
