Cheesecake was delicious and turned out well. I only had one problem. In the recipe when preparing the topping it says to add the remaining egg. I believe it should be egg yolk. All the other recipes I have used for the topping call for yolks. Overall is an awesome recipe. Thanks Kraft!!!

I always make my husband a german chocolate cake for his birthday, a tradition started by my mother-in-law. I made this cheesecake for him last year for a little change, but still somewhat keeping the tradition. It turned out so perfectly, my mother-in-law thought I bought it!! She was very impressed that I made it. Instead of making the icing, I just bought the ready-made caramel pecan icing. It saved me a lot of time, and tasted great!

We made this wonderful cheesecake for my sister when she was ill-only sweet cold food tasted good to her.It was one of the last things she enjoyed before she passed away. I make it often for friends-and I think of my sister and how much she loved the good things in life-like chocolate!

This was the tastiest Valentine's gift ever! I made it for my husband and we loved it. Since there are only two of us, we invited my parents over for dinner the next night and they enjoyed it too. My Mum, who doesn't eat cheesecake devoured the whole thing. The German chocolate topping is the best. I used light creamcheese to *try* and reduce calories. Yum.

I made this cheesecake a few years ago for my husband's birthday. He loves the German Choclate cake and I thought this would be a nice change. Wow, was he happy! He had the best of all worlds. His favorite flavor, German Choc., mixed with one of his favorite desserts, cheesecake! I lost the recipe. Happy to find it. I will soon suprise him again with it.

I made this cheesecake for someone's birthday and also added pictures of it in a portfolio for a culinary class I was taking. It was so good, I am making it again by request for the same birthday, and got good remarks on the pictures from my class instructor. The icing is very good, and the cake itself has just the right amount of chocolate.

My family and I did not like this cheesecake very much. We all love cheesecake and german chocolate cake, but this was not what we had in mind. It turned out beautifully, but it was soooo rich with almost a bitter taste(you could taste the cream cheese too much) My husband ended up eating the top layer that had the topping on it, but we threw the rest away.
