The apples need to be cooked not in the water as all the sweetness dissolved. Cook apples separate. other then that the recipe was good.

This recipe is great for finickie eaters,also having a large family its quick and easy,and with or buissy scheduals and kids sports it fits in great. Oh my kids like the sweat taste the apples bring to the stuffing and pork. Thanks Katrinaaa

I would not recommend boiling the apples with the water for the stuffing as required, the apples loose their sweetness and that is needed for this recipe. Other wise it was very good and you can tweak it to suit your needs.

This recipe was very good. I will be making it again. I did the version with 2 apples instead of onion and apple juice instead of water. Will try the other way next time to see how it is.
