I made this in the oven after quickly browning thick center cut pork chops on the stove I put hot water in the bottom of pan, cut up butter for stuffing and put that on the bottom and layed the porkchops on top and layered the apple and onion on that. Covered it and put in the oven for around 45 minutes. My family loved it! Easy to make, flavor is excellent and porkchops are moist.
