We made this dip with the mexican velvetta and used hot sausuage and italian sausage instead of chicken. The flavor was great, but it was so runny...looked like soup.
This recipe is great! Everyone loved it, and the best part is you can prepare it the day before in the serving dish. Then on the day of your party, just cook! I will also try Mexican Velveeta for alittle more flavor.
I have made this recipe numerous times. The last time I switch the chicken with hot sausage and used regualr velveta with pepper jack velveta. Everyone loved it.
yes i would make it again but this time i might try somthing different, it seemed to get kind of thick. maybe somthing in a sause and maybe minus the cheese. overall i liked alot...... my kids on the other hand did not. i guess to many veggies all at once.
I entertain several times a month and have a recipe collection of approximately 75 appetizers that are tried and true. I was looking to add on and found this dip. I made it last night for a playoff party at my home and it was absolutely delicous. I was reluctant to use velveeta since I've never used it before but I'm glad I did. I'm going to make this again and again. Just one note, if you aren't serving a crowd, you may want to halve the dip. It makes a large amount as is.
I serve this dip to 20 to 25 men on our anual fishing trips, they love it. Its quick and easy to make, that the best part.
A great dip that is good with just about any cracker, hard veggie, or tortilla chip! Everyone loved it, and a great way to use up leftover chicken.

I made this recipe for a Superbowl party and it was a bigger hit than the game. I have made it several times since, adding salsa or Ro-Tel to give it an extra kick.
