On top of the heartwarming tastiness of hearty potato soup, we added crumbly bacon, shredded cheese, green onions and sour cream. A sure soup-hall-of-fame inductee.

This soup was so easy to make and had such a great taste. It didn't take much time and my whole family loved it. Even my 2 and 4 year old! I would make this again.

great tasting for such a simple recipe.texture was perfect.left skins on potatoes.not too runny.added an extra potato so the starch could naturally thicken the soup.will definitely make it over and over again.

I have never had potato soup before, and my husband wanted some so I looked it up & chose this recipe. Wow! Its really good & so quick & easy to make. For such a simple meal its great. I didnt put any of the onions in it b/c I dont like them, & I used already cooked bacon, which is the same to me. I make this all the time & serve with salad.

My kids are fairly picky eaters and they loved this soup. I tried substituting bacon bits but it wasn't near as good as the real bacon.

We all loved this soup. Ryan ( 14 yr old son ) wanted me to rate it a 5 stars.... I doubled it and used half cream and half milk.

This soup was amazing. I added more potato and cheese. I also used more black pepper and added cayenne to give it a bit of a kick. I used heavy cream to give it more of a thicker and heartier texture. I would certainly make this again and again!

This soup was delicious. I pureed half of the potatoes and left the others chopped and I used half and half instead of milk. Even my husband who usually won't eat soup, ate 2 bowls. And my kids loved it too.

I added more celery and onion to make it heartier. Yum, Yum.

Minus the onion and celery. Add 1/4 cup heavy cream, instead of 1/4 cup of milk. This was sooooo good. I just got braces, and it was the first thing I've really be able to eat and enjoy. Yum-O!

It was pretty tasty, expecially if you like baked potatoes.
