The only thing I didn't like was that the potatoes got sort of mashed. It made the soup taste gritty. Next time I will leave my potatoes intact! Otherwise great!!

It's very easy to make. The first time I made it I burned my self a little when trying to break up the potatoes...so be careful.

I made this recipe on the weekend (had been craving potato soup). It was fantastic! Very easy to make. You definitely should double the recipe. I was hoping to take some for lunch the next day for work, but the pot was completely empty. I did add a couple of extra baked potatoes. This will definitely be one of my family's favorites.

I followed the recipe except I used a little Velveeta, in addition to American cheese slices and shredded cheddar cheese. My family loved it!

This recipe was excellent. It was my first shot at making potato soup, and it turned out great. I used turkey bacon, since I don't eat pork, and it was delicious.

This is a crowd pleaser. I also just threw everything in rather than use garnish. I used microwaved potatoes, and also boullion cubes rather than broth. I served it up with homemade rolls. It was like serving up a dish of homemade love!
