This is a VERY good starter recipe. I did however make my own little changes. I used a little less milk, added garlic salt and some slightly mashed up veggies (cauliflower, broccoli and carrots). It is so tasty and will be great once the weather gets colder. This will definitely be a recipe that I will use over and over again. I have even thought about substituting rutabaga for the potatoes because I love those and don't eat them often enough.
