Thanks to the addition of cream cheese, this classic bread is unbelievably moist. And while it won't be easy, you should wait until it is completely cooled before slicing ...read more

This is the ONLY banana bread recipe I use anymore. I usually add 1 tsp of vanilla to it. I often use pecans instead of walnuts and add a handful (or so) of dried cranberries. I originally found it in the Philadelphia Cream Cheese cookbook that I got eons ago.

This was so great! :) First time I've ever even attempted to make banana bread, and it was perfect! I'm so excited! I left out the walnuts because my husband doesn't like them, and I only needed to bake it for one hour, not 70 min. We will definitely be having this again, and some people will probably be receiving this as a Christmas present this year :)

70 minutes made my bread a little dry so next time I think I will only bake it for 60 min to get it a little more moist. i didn't use nuts because I'm not a big fan but next time i think I might buy some small cut up walnuts.

I liked this recipe because it didn't use all the oil that my traditional betty crocker recipe uses. I subbed 1/2 cup of the flour for whole wheat flour, as i do in most recipes to add some fiber, and i added 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. I also used more like 1 1/2 cups mashed banana, and did not use nuts. I think this will become my usual banana bread recipe from now on.

I wouldn't consider myself an everyday cook/baker, but I made this recipe tonight and both me and my husband loved it. It was really easy to make. I love Kraft Foods recipes. Thanks!

This bread is delicious. I've never been a fan of banana bread - but I love this one. It's very quick and easy to make. It was a big hit. I added chocolate chips and eliminated the nuts - it's awesome.

This is definitely my favorite banana bread recipe that I've tried. Very easy to make and very banana tasting. My only qualm with it is that is deflates quite a bit after it's been taken out of the oven. Overall though, it has a great moist consistency and a good flavor.
