I agree this IS the best recipe. Like some others I added some spices and vanilla. I will add 1 4th bannana next time because it is a really big loaf. I was suprised how well it turned out. Mine used to be either dry or undercooked in the middle and overdone on the outside. This loaf taste and looks perfect. I am going to make one tonight!

Adding chocolate chips was great. I also made it with a gluten free alternate and it was very good. I used the same amount of the substitute as was required for the usual recipe. It cooked more quickly than the usual recipe with the flour. I used the extra banana and the vanilla as was recommended by other people

BOY, was this a great recipe! I'll never use any other. I am passing it down to my girls for them to use when they move out. (if i keep making this they may never leave!)

Very moist, good to eat warm or cold all by itself. All of my friends & family now have a copy.
