This was the first time I made this type of fruit salad. I used fresh mandarin oranges and fresh pineapple. This is my new potluck dish!! Thanks

This has been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid. My in-laws had never had it before my husband and I were married, but they love it when I make it. It's now become my standard contribution to their family get together's.

Yes I would,,,,,this time I'm including vanilla yogurt instead of sour cream and add whip topping and orange flavored Jello,,,,,and also add a little bit more color and put some cherries

I've also had this without the coconut, but add 1 cup (or more if you like) of Cool Whip. Very good - always gets lots of compliments.

My family has made this recipe for every holiday since I was very young. Even the people who profess to 'hate' sour cream loved it! Now that I've grown my kids and husband LOVE it too!

This is very easy, VERY good. I added about 1/2 cup marishino cherries for color and it was a big hit, as a beautiful dessert and anytime snack...

I have five children and all of them love it! I have made is several times, and I add the cherries to it. It's a special treat for my kids after school. They look forward to it.
