I have made this recipe for many years and still love to make it. It is a light dessert after a heavy meal. I sometimes omit the coconut as it is a little hard to digest. Sometimes I put the coconut in the food processor to cut it finer and in that way it is easier to digest. Melba Barinka

I have been making this recipe for 40 years every Christmas. It is excellent with poultry. Best chilled for 24 hrs.

The reason for this review is to change the recipe slightly. There was a commercial one made with whipped cream and I have made it with Cool Whip. And I also have found that I almost have to make two batches in order to have one make it to the table.

This has been a favorite in my family but I whip a 3 oz pkg of Kraft Cremecheese into the fruit along with the sour creme. It helps firm up the recipe and gives it a creamy flavor

My family has been enjoying a variation of this recipe for many years. I also add drained, canned fruit cocktail. I serve this at all our summer picnics and parties.

I've been making this for years. My family loves it! They like it even better when I add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans.

I've made this substituting red seedless grapes for the coconut. It is delicious!
