My husband loves this, so I fix it for all holidays. I have also added red grapes sometimes and the colored miniature marshmallows for fun. Ruth

My mother has made this recipe since I was little. She also added chopped pecans to it. She called it Hawaiian Salad. We always had it at holidays and parties. Very simple to make and delicious.

Five-Cup Salad has been a favorite of mine for many, many years. My family expects it to be included with most all meals served here and I am asked to bring it to all the potlucks. I use fresh oranges though and that's a must. I also use crushed pineapple instead of chunks but do drain it saving juice to add later if needed. It's good with either sour cream or whipped cream or a mix. I also add a few sliced maraschino cherries for color.
