Have bought these at a name brand pizza place, now I can make them on my own. My husband loves them

OMG YUM! I followed the recipe for the most part (couldn't find the semi-sweet 'chunks' so I used semi-sweet 'chips' instead, and I used less peanuts, maybe 2/3 cup---and crushed them up by hand). I made 4 batches for our Humane Society Bake Sale fundraiser and I think I ate 3 batches by myself! These are SO good and SO EASY!!!!

These were fantastic! Very easy to make! Nice twist on just a regular rice crispy treat. I could not find the Baker's semi-sweet chocolate chunks at my grocery store so I used the Baker's semi-sweet chocolate squares instead. I would recommed using the entire box of chocolate squares and the whole bag of butterscotch chips to make sure there is enough mixture to cover the treats. As a general rule of thumb, I have found when using melted chocolate as a topping it is always best to have more left over than not enough. The dessert will show better to your guests and look exactly like the picture!

I love these bars. My mom made a recipe similar to this back in the 60's or 70's and I made them for my kids, but haven't made them for years until now! Love them, love them.

I used 1-1/2 cups of each of the chips to make the topping extra thick. Yum!

I had to double the chocolate and butterscotch to cover the bars completely.

Wonderful. Better than the original. I used white chocolate on top, since my husband doesn't like regular chocolate. These were great!
