What You Need

1/4

cup butter or margarine

pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

cups crisp rice cereal

cup PLANTERS Salted Peanuts

cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

cup butterscotch chips

Make It

MICROWAVE butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat. Microwave 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted, stirring after 45 sec.

STIR in peanut butter until blended. Add cereal and nuts; mix well. Press onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch pan.

MICROWAVE remaining ingredients in small microwaveable bowl 1 to 1-1/2 min. or until completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec. Pour over cereal mixture; spread to cover. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chocolate mixture is firm.

Melt butter in 3-qt. saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows; stir until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in peanut butter; remove from heat. Add cereal and nuts; mix well. Press firmly onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch pan. Cook remaining ingredients in saucepan on very low heat until completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Pour over cereal; spread to cover. Refrigerate until chocolate mixture is firm.

This was very good however I would do a few things differently next time. I substitued more chocolate chips instead of butterscotch and I didn't care for it - too chocloately. I would try the butterscotch or maybe peanut butter chips. I also didn't add peanuts and that turned out fine!

This is very good, I substitue more chocolate chips for the butterscotch, because we don't care for it. I don't think the recipe I used had peanuts in it either. Its easy to make and my family loves it.

They flew off the plate! The chocolate chip and butterscotch chip frosting is something I had not tried before. I was used to using store-bought frosting, but this was still easy and tasted better.

This recipe was ok. I really liked the chocolate topping. I mixed it with peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch. I added plain nuts intead of salted. I wonder if that would have enhanced the flavor a bit more. It probably would have tasted like a "Payday" candy bar. I will probably try this again, but use salted nuts instead.
