I haven't made this, but it seems like a great alternative to key lime pie! I can't wait to try it. Too bad I didn't find this recipe until the fall, it would be great on a hot summer's day!

I LOVE this recipe! From previous experience, I used less water and I folded in the cool whip. Folding makes a BIG difference. I had the gastric bypass so sugar is a no-no, but I used regular cool whip and had no problem. Most definately a keeper.

I made this over the summer. The taste was fine, but I don't know what happenend - it never really congealed and was like green slop in crust.

Great recipe! I have had trouble once making it with the COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping (listed in the ingredients) rather than the regular COOL WHIP. It came out fine, but after eating it and saving the rest for later in the refrigerator, the pie became runny and slowly melted. I had been told by others that it may have been its lack in fat and or sugar. I'm not sure, maybe just that time it was me messing it up. Besides that, I have been making it with regular Cool Whip and have had wonderful and delicious results.

I used an 8 serving package of Lime Sugar-Free Jello, but it still turned out wonderful.
