I love this recipe, I use the bread part as a quick bread starter... I add all sort's of things to it to give it more of a kick, making it more like a bread stick (in the end)... I add sauteed onions, chopped up steamed broccoli... garlic, italian seasoning, gratted cheese the choice's are limitless!!!

I would recommend doubling the cream, it was delicous. Brought to work function and it was gone in a couple hours.

I tried making them in a cupcake pan and they were great! Don't use paper cups or a silicone pan (I learned this the hard way, lol). I got the best results when I used a metal cupcake pan and sprayed it heavily with butter flavor no stick spray (instead of using the butter). You'll want to cut the cook time to about 12 min at 450 and 5 min at 350.

Loved the recipe!!! M children enjoyed helping me make this and watching it rise up!! They enjoyed eating it even more!! Just dig in and eat however you feel like eating it, cut it, dip into it, just have fun with it!!!

How do you serve this? do you slice into it( wouldn't it be crunchy and messy?) do you scoopout of it? how do you cut the bowl then? Looks good otherwise

I've made the dutch boy pancake for decades, usually with fried apples as the topping - always a fast & easy dinner!!

This was very easy to make and quite filling. The kids were excited to see it all puffed up but did not like the marshmellow and cream cheese topping. Next time I will serve it plain and let them choose their own topping. I think they would have liked it better with whipped cream or syrup.

This was so easy to make, and incredible to watch grow out of the dish! I served the fruit on the side. I'm going to try baking the mix in cup cake tins for individual serving size cups for a soccer banquet with plain fresh fruit, or maybe a tuna or chicken salad/fruit mix
