I was reading other comments of people using sour cream instead of the miracle whip...I don't happen to like it so I used the sour cream and it turned out wonderfully everyone at my table loved and I myself was very happy with can serve it with steak or chicken goes great with both...
Love the taste, easy to make
Ene my picky eater ate a ton of these!
I prepared this for dinner, but I did modify this recipe. I prepared a batch and a half, and added the following: 6-1/2 potatoes, 6 tablespoons of salad dressing, 3 tablespoons milk, 7 slices of cooked-crumbled bacon, 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper + 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. A batch and a half will make 7 servings. Hubby and I really enjoyed these potatoes!
I coupled these with your unfried chicken and the kids loved it!
I made this last night with your bbq pork chops and a pasta salad. I was so good, my family was so full. However i did have to add a bit more mayo and i also added some milk because it was a bit stiff. But i will definatly make again, they have a grat flavor.
My family liked this dish. I thought the salad dressing was a little too strong and next time will probably use mayo, diluted with some milk, since I also thought the potatoes were a little too stiff. I did like the cheese and bacon flavor.
I might have put to much Mayo in because it had such a strong Mayo taste which no one in my family cares for. If I make it again I would use Milk instead of Mayo
Made this on Christmas Eve. I omitted the Miracle Whip dressing. I used whole milk and Winco (west coast) grocery store carried a white sharp cheddar cheese from Australia. I put that in place of the mild cheddar cheese and this was a BIG hit.
I made this for our christmas family dinner & i was good. I cut the miracle whip to 1/4 cup & added some ranch dressing & had to add some milk as it was a little too thick. I also added more cheese & a little extra garlic for more flavor. Everyone loved them.
