Easy, quick and only 1 pot to clean up afterwards.

I like the kick from the red pepper! I added chopped celery and some chicken boullion granules (with the cup of water). The dish took longer than five minutes to simmer because the rice sticks to the meat and veggies and doesn't stay submerged in the liquid. I had to use less rice and more liquid to get it to cook thoroughly. Next time I will make the rice separately.

This dish was very delicious. Instead of turkey sausage I used smoked sausage and italian diced tomatoes. I also added a pound of shrimp. My husband who is usually very picky loved it as well.

I make this recipe often when my family gets together. It's a quick fix for a meal that everyone enjoys. I cook one medium chicken breast in the microwave, cut it up and add it with the sausage. Has a great flavor. For speed of preperation I cut up all the ingredients the night before and store them in the fridge.

This was a very easy recipe to make and the kids actually loved it! They had no idea there were onions and green peppers in it because I chopped them very finely, and I left out the red peppers (too hot) I used a three dollar hand chopper. Great meal!
