It is the best. Can use other kinds of chocolate. Everyone raves when I make it.
Take it from me, this is the best fudge receipe for those who cann't make fudge. If I can turn out this fantastic receipe, then any body can.
Your old Fantasy Fudge recipe was much better. COuld you please post that one as well? That one was excellent!
My husband can barely boil water, but the last couple of years, at Christmas time, he wants to get in on the goody-making. I told him he wouldn't be able to mess this up. We generally make six or seven batches of this fudge with many variations such as peanut butter chips for peanut butter fudge, mint chips, raspberry chocolate chips - if they make it a chip flavor, it can be a fudge flavor. White chips don't work all that great - very hard to melt properly. WARNING: When making the microwave recipe (it is the best!) be sure to boil your milk/sugar mixture as long as the recipe calls for - don't rush it or you'll get grainy fudge!
I have been making this fudge recipe for years at Christmas time. My daughter has me make it for her work every year. I was making it the "stove top way". Last year I made it in the microwave and found it to turn out much better.
I have been making this recipe for 10-15 years especially at Christmas. It is the best fudge recipe around. I love fudge, so naturally I have tried many other recipes that others have made. Nothing even comes close to this one. Our families expect it every year for Christmas. It always goes fast. Thanks for being there year after year!! P.S. I use pecans instead of walnuts and always use semi-sweet chocolate chips and Jet-Puffed Marshmallow creme.
This is the best fudge recipe out there. It is so easy. I make it every year at christmas and it is always a hit. Thanks so much for this great recipe. I love it and so does everyone I give it to. great recipe I will continue to make it every year.
great no-fail fudge! Easy to make and everyone loves it!!
I make this fudge every year and not only for the holidays. If an important date comes up, there's nothing like a batch of Fantasy Fudge to round out the party. So far, I've made 18# of fudge. 18# more on the way. That may or may not be enough for gift giving. I double the recipe and use a 13 oz. jar of marshmellow creme. Some with nuts, some without. Thank you for an excellent recipe for years and years.
My kids love the microwave version, it's quick and easy! Every Christmas we do mint fudge, using mint chocolate chips for approx. half the chocolate. I alwasy get a 'wow' reaction from everybody!
