My husband and I have made the Fantasy Fudge using this recipe for the past 5 or so Christmases. It's a big hit. This year we tried a different variety of marshmallow creme because when I went to purchase our ingredients the store was out of the Kraft brand. I DO NOT recommend using any other brand of marshmallow creme!! Our fudge does not taste as good as it usually does. We'll be buying the good stuff for the rest of our fudge batches. As a variation, we always use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet and we also like to use peanut butter chips. Makes for vary tasty fudge!

I have made the Fantasy Fudge every Christmas for many years -- it is always a request from my co-workers and family. The one year I didn't make it, I had to make it after Christmas because everyone was so upset they hadn't got my fudge! As far as I am concerned, this is one of your most timeless and easiest recipes! Thank you so much to whoever came up with it in the first place and had the wisdom to put it on a jar of marshmallow for me to see... My family and friends thank you also.

Of all the desserts I make for the holidays, this is by far the most requested dish. I usually do not add the walnuts and instead of using the chocolate squares, I just get a bag of semi-sweet chips...

Easy, Easy, Easy It is a family tradition in my family for years - My dad has passed it down to me to make for my own family now and he also still makes it every Christmas for the entire family!!

My mom had made this fudge recipe since I was a little girl (and I'm 37 now). And now I make it every year. It's easy and delicious! My mom never used a candy thermometer, but I do. The only change to the recipe now is that we use a 12oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of the chocolate baking squares. We also split the batch into 2 9x9 square pans and put 1 cup peanut butter into half the batch. Yummy!

I had problems with the texture when I tried the regular recipe (first time it was too soft/grainy, second time was too hard). However, the microwave variation turned out perfectly. I also experimented with using Oreos instead of nuts, and 6oz. white chocolate + 6oz. milk chocolate instead of semisweet for a "cookies and cream" variation, and that turned out really well too.
