I was a little uneasy about putting parmesan and lime on corn, but it was absolutely delicious! I left the butter off. With the flavor of the cheese and lime, it didn't need the butter!
Sooooo goooood! Really easy to do and a wonderful twist to spice up an old favorite!
I grew up in a household where we always boiled our corn on the cob...I had never had it grilled before last night. I must say I was a huge fan, as was my boyfriend! I wrapped it in foil, instead of leaving it in the husks because I didnt have the 2 hours to pre-soak them. I aso didnt use the lim wedges, cus Im not a huge fan, but it was delicious anyways. WIll definitely make again, and maybe next time try in the husks.
One of my favorite sides, the whole family loves it. I sometimes use miracle whip in place of the butter and both ways are delicious! I have made this countless times.
Delicious alternative to salt...I was skeptical at first, but my husband ate 3 ears of the stuff.
My mother loved this receipe!! We live in Chicago and she grew up eating corn-on-the-cob that the Mexican retailers sold in some neighborhoods and she said this receipe taste just like theirs!! It brought back some great childhood memories.
Instead of using fresh parmesean we used the grated that stays in the fridge and melted the butter together. It was great!
I start by brushing mayo the cheese and sprinkle chili powder over corn . wrap in foil. cookfor 10-15 min. when done add salt and butter to taste. Best corn on the cob i have ever eaten
Excellent. The combination of parmesan cheese & butter on fresh corn is delicious.
I was not sure about the parmesan and lime mixture, but this is the best corn on the cob I've ever had.
