I made this for a family get together and all the other cooks in the family raved and even asked me for the recipe!! Needless to say, there wasn't any left!! I did, however, use more preserves than the recipe called for. I thnk that it made for a more moist bar. I definately recommend this one!!!

My version looked a little different and it was really hard to keep the pieces in tact after cutting, but it tasted great. I used real raspberries mixed with cornstarch and Splenda as a filler.

This recipe was all right. I'm a big fan of bars, especially coconut ones. I made this dessert last night for some guests. The guests liked it, however, I was kind of embarassed about it. It was rather bland and the bottom crust was kind of dry. I used a blackberry preserves for this. Maybe raspberry is better.

I didn't have the raspberry preserves but used blackberry instead. Definately a 'keeper' in my book! These are one of the easiest and best tasting bars that i have made.........

Great and easy to make. Must wait for it to cool otherwise it does not cut well. Excellent for breaskfast bars or snacks.

I don't even like coconut, and I liked these bars! I made them for a party and got a lot of compliments! They took a long time to cool, and got a little messy when I had to cut them up - but didn't detract from the taste at all!

These were excellent. Very soft and chewy. Next time I may add some almond flavoring for something a little different.
