Fun Taco Cups

Fun Taco Cups recipe
Traditional taco ingredients get a warm, Southern touch when they’re baked inside biscuits. A great weeknight option that’s happy with a salad on the side.

Even my slow-poke finicky eater had seconds! I used a meat substitute (crumbles) to make it vegetarian and served it with brown rice.
Big hit!! I used crescent rolls because I didn't have any biscuits. Still awesome! My kids want it again and again!!
i made this tonights dinner, it was quick and easy...i used all fresh ingredients and herbs and a simple salad with a lite ranch dressing to go with the heat in the taco cups...i will make this again and try a different flavor!
I would rather have these than regular tacos! They are delicious!! My son says I can make these every night!!
We made this tonight for the first time and it was very good. My only complaint was that some of the meat on top of the cups was a bit dry by the time it finished baking. We topped it with homemade salsa though and it helped. Yummy!
wow these were so awesome! I ran out of biscuits when making it,cuz it was such a hit!!So i actually had plenty beef sauce left and ran to my pantry, found simply enjoy mini pastry shells(12 in a pack)-filled those and that was round two of the success!!!The sauce actually stays in better w/pastry shells:)Even better as evening appetizers! These will knock you of your feet! So glad i ran across this.
My kids loved how they tasted but I hated how the filling popped right out of the pastry....need to revise this one.
They were very simple and quick to make. The whole family loved them.
husband and sons loved them :)
As usual, I read the comments, and then added my touch. I added medium chunky salsa, onions, red peppers, garlic, and cilantro to the meat mixture. Since I had more of the meat mixture, I used TWO cans of biscuits (20). Sprayed Pam into the muffin cups, pressed each biscuit into it and up the sides, added lots of meat mixture to it. No problem with puffy bisuits at all, due to the weight of the meat. Cheese was added for a few minutes more. Since I did have extra meat mixture leftover, I added that to my pan of Mac & Cheese with some salsa and a little melted Velveeta cheese. Big hit as a side! This meal was AWESOME!!!
