I like the amount this recipe yeilds. Careful not to over boil the milk n sugar.
I work in an assisted living facility and made this fudge for some of the residents because it made a larger quantity of fudge than the recipe I usually use - WOW, I will never use another fudge recipe again! The residents and staff raved about the texture and flavor. Needless to say, I've been asked to make this one again.
I usually make the fantasy fudge, but tried this for something different. Wow! Definitely won't go back. I actually overcooked it slightly and it had a chewier texture to it than normal, but it was still preferable to the gritty texture of the fantasy fudge recipe.
Very Easy. It was the first time I made fudge and it turned out great!!
I thought this was going to be my new go-to recipe after I had completed the fudge and poured it into the pan to cool. Tasting it warm it was awesome. But when it cooled and I was cutting it, it all just kind of crumbled as I was cutting it into squares. The taste was still good, just not the texture. Incase you're wondering, I make 4-5 types of fudge each year around Xmas so I am definitely experienced, and I followed the recipe exactly. I will not make this one again.
Can't figure out what I did wrong! It was hard as a rock when I took it out of the fridge to be cut!
Sooo good. I might try it without the nuts next time.
THE BEST FUDGE EVER!! I'll only use this recipe, it's the best. I don't use the pecans, otherwise I follow the recipe exactly. YUMMM! :)
OMG!!! This was SO good! I did change some things up a bit though. I didn't have any evaporated milk or marshmallow creme, so I used hazelnut non-dairy coffee creamer and added cranberries. I'll definitely make this again!
YUM! This fudge is so... good.Everyone loved it! Although i did changed a small part. Instead of 36oz. of semi-sweet chocolate chips, i did 24oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips + 12oz. peanut butter chips.
