Very good recipe! I live on the Equator and needed a chocolate frosting that wouldn't slide off the cake in 85 deg F temperatures. It held up like a champ!

This really is the BEST chocolate frosting recipe! I've used bittersweet and semisweet baking chocolate also, when I didn't have the unsweetened. All are delicious. I have found, however, that every time I make it, I need almost twice the milk called for. (Perhaps it is because I use half & half?) I have also added 1-1/2 tsp. espresso powder* on occasion and that too is delicious. This recipe is definitely a keeper! *Espresso powder is available on-line from baking supply sites.

This frosting was incredibly easy to make and went perfectly with the Baker's one bowl chocolate cake. I was afraid to use chocolate frosting on a chocolate cake, but they worked together quite deliciously.

This recipe is very quick & easy. Everyone loves it and is impressed that I make icing from scratch (but they don't know how easy it is!) I've also made this recipe using Baker's WHITE chocolate, and it turned out great!--perfect for adding food coloring & decorating with.
