This was super easy, and pretty tasty. The cheese sauce was an interesting touch! I think next time I'll add crumbled bacon or maybe sausage or something. This makes a ton, and with a little meat could easily be a main dish casserole.

I do not like this green bean casserole. I only eat it because our daugther girls like and their being it to our house on thanksgiving. thanks goods I only have to eat it once a year.

I've tried it with a pound of ground chuck, scrambled and drained and about 1/2 of a small block of Mexican Velveeta grated in. Great with a pan of cornbread!

I would add some boiled,chopped up chicken breast;and add a can of cream of chicken soup!Delicious!!!!

Made this for Turkey Day it turned out okay but wasn't a big hit. I think when i make it again I am going to used canned beans I hear that makes a difference.

I made the recipe and I decided to tweak it. Instead of cheese whiz, use shredded sharp cheddar cheese and added several dashes of soy sauce (thanks to another recommendation on here). Also, my husband and I liked the can grean beans instead of the frozen. Very yummy!
