This was very easy and good. However, mine was really soft and I didn't like that.
this was very difficult to mix and didn't taste good either. Not worth it!
My mother first made this recipe back in the early 50s from a newspaper ad. We both loved it. Unfortunately when she died I did not find the recipe in with her others that were saved. I was elated when I found it online earlier this year. It is wonderful and I am making it for Christmas gifts for a couple of very special medical providers.
I love this fudge recipe. It is very versitile and pretty darn easy as fudge goes. I do like it better with semi-sweet chocolate though.
Ok I had the recipe in front of me on my laptop and I tried to make this I had never made fudge before so I wanted to try it but I was not successfull at all I don't know what I did wrong I really don't it was like it got very thick and hard to mix I am not going to try this recipe again but maybe I will find a better one to try fudge . . . I found that it had a little bit of a cream cheese aftertaste. But by lessening the amount of cream cheese that goes away.
I don't know what i did wrong.
I had this recipe many years ago then lost it. I have been looking for it for a year without success-guess I wasn't entering the right "phrasing" into the computer. Sure am glad to find it again.
I am not what you call a cook but this recipe was real simple. I loved the taste and so did everyone else. It does taste better the second day, like most recipes. I will definately make this recipe again and again.
This seemed like a great, easy recipe, and it was very easy to make...but it never got the texture that fudge should have! My husband said it looks like brownies...but tastes like thick chocolate whipped cream!
