I make these as cupcakes. Follow cooking time on the box. Everyone loves them. I now have to make a double batch at family parties. They even hide some.

It did not taste the same as if made with a real red velvet cake mix.

This is so simple and tastes amazing! I have even done the cake with 4 egg whites, 1/3 cup applesauce and 1 cup water, and it still tastes amazing, with a few calories saved!

I decided to try something different and made these cupcakes to bring into work on a Friday. Everyone at work RAVED about how delicious and moist they were. I even kept them in the fridge overnight and they were still delicious. I think the cream cheese frosting got the highest reviews. I've already been asked to bring in more...

I made this cake into cake balls. Of the 5 different flavors of cakes I made, this was everyone's favorite. It is very moist and the cream cheese mixture combines perfectly with it. I cooked it in a 9x13 pan, but it would be better in a round baking pan.
