I haven't tried this recipe yet, but, I will in the near future. 30 years ago I had a receipe for a special icing that tasted lighter than whipping cream in a can, which was made with real whipping cream, cooked in a double boiler and cooled in the refrigerator. It was supposedly a $500 recipe, and I believe it was worth it. I would love to have it again. Everyone who ate this icing loved it and reqested it for all kinds of social events.
